QUICK TAKE:
Action/Drama: A former cop gets involved in a deadly mystery after he begins investigating a plane crash.
PLOT:
Former New Orleans cop, Dave Robicheaux (ALEC BALDWIN) and his wife, Annie (KELLY LYNCH) lead a quiet peaceful bayou lifestyle. That's shattered when a plane crashes near them and they rescue a little girl who's the only survivor. Once a DEA agent shows up asking questions, Dave's interests are peaked and he gets drawn deeper and deeper into a growing mystery. Thrown into the mix is an old childhood friend -- turned local crime baron -- Bubba Rocque (ERIC ROBERTS), his seductive wife, Claudette (TERI HATCHER) and an old stripper friend, Robin (MARY STUART MASTERSON). As Dave gets more deeply involved, things turn deadly and he must figure out who's behind the criminal activity.
WILL KIDS WANT TO SEE IT?
The story probably won’t draw them in, but Baldwin and Hatcher just might.

  • DISRESPECTFUL/BAD ATTITUDE
  • David and Annie take the little girl (from the plane wreck) home as if she belongs to them (And no one asks any questions?) So in effect, they’ve kidnaped this little girl who can’t speak English.
  • Of course all the bad guys have bad attitudes.

  • A topless stripper in a string bikini dances in a seedy nightclub.
