QUICK TAKE:
Comedy: A rap mogul tries to gain admittance to a stuffy and exclusive country club whose leader will do anything to prevent that from happening.
PLOT:
C-Note (ANTWAN 'BIG BOI' PATTON) is a successful rap mogul who lives large with his entourage that includes Lady G (SHERRI SHEPHERD), Big Large (FAIZON LOVE), Dread (FINESSE MITCHELL), and Kidd Clean (CHASE TATUM). Yet, for all of the money and fame he might possess, he can't gain admittance to the stuffy and exclusive Carolina Pines Golf & Polo Club. And that's mainly due to the snobby man who runs the place, Cummings (JEFFREY JONES), who wants nothing to do with C-Note and his kind, although Cummings' wannabe player son, Wilson (ANDY MILONAKIS), thinks it's cool to have them around.

Undeterred, C-Note purchases an estate adjacent to the country club, a strategic move since a just expired, 99-year land lease means that he now owns part of the 17th hole. To give it back, all he wants is to be allowed to join, partly because his father was once a caddy there, a fact that means he has a soft spot in his heart for the talented Caddy Mack (JAMES AVERY). Even so, Cummings refuses to allow C-Note to join and hires lawyer Shannon Williams (TAMALA JONES) to make the artist go away. Yet, it isn't as easy as that, particularly when the two potential legal adversaries feel the longings of romance blossoming between them, something C-Note's old-school mom (JENNIFER LEWIS) thinks is about time for her son.

Determined not to lose, especially with the possibility of hosting the U.S. Open potentially riding on his success, Cummings eventually hires the diminutive hit-men duo of Big Willie Johnson (TONY COX) and Lil' Rod (DANA MICHAEL WOODS) to take care of matters. That's all while being unaware that Mrs. Cummings (SUSAN WARD) has taken a liking to the charismatic Big Large, and as Lady G hooks up again with Tank (TERRY CREWS) and Wilson adopts a hip-hop look and demeanor from being around C-Note and his crew. From that point on, the rap mogul and the stuffy country club leader battle it out to see who will prevail.

OUR TAKE: 0 out of 10
This is a lame, "urban" rip-off of "Caddyshack," complete with all of the expected jokes and developments regarding black rap infiltrating the stuffy, white world of country club life (including the snob getting his comeuppance, his teen son becoming a player, the middle-aged white woman falling for the bad boy black guy, and lots of scantly clad women gyrating and such on the dance floor). Dimension Films/MGM did not screen "Who's Your Caddy?" for critics until late the night before it opened, so we're still working on this part of the review.
