  • City Heat: In Kansas City 1933, wisecracking detective Murphy (Burt Reynolds) tracks the killer of his partner. Police Lt. Speer (Clint Eastwood) doesn't have much tolerance for the local mob war's body count. Neither guy likes each other, so that makes them a dream team. And it provides the ideal scenario as they clean up the town with slugfests and shoot-'em-ups that parody Reynolds' and Eastwood's macho screen images. Director Richard Benjamin gets the '30s stylishly right and supporting cast - Jane Alexander, Irene Cara, Rip Torn, Richard Roundtree, Tony Lo Bianco and Madeline Kahn - makes the antics sparkle. Hard-boiled and hilarious, City Heat is your red-hot ticket to starry entertainment.

Honkytonk Man: Red Stovall (Clint Eastwood) is a Depression-era rascal whose fire-in-the-belly passion comes from the whiskey he slugs and the dream he chases: singing at the Grand Ole Opry. He takes off on a drive from Oklahoma to audition in Nashville with nephew Whit (Clint's son Kyle Eastwood) along to help keep the car on the road and Red on the straight and narrow. The elder Eastwood also directs this funny, warmhearted film, which also serves up a beguiling country soundtrack featuring Marty Robbins, Ray Price, John Anderson, Frizzell and West, Linda Hopkins for a scorching touch of the blues - and Eastwood himself. Richly nostalgic and marvelously acted, Honkytonk Man hits all the right notes for solid entertainment.

Pink Cadillac: Jump bail and skip-tracer Tommy Nowak (Clint Eastwood) will nail you before the ink on your fake ID dries. He always gets his man. But will he also get his woman (Bernadette Peters) - especially one with an infant in her arms, a quarter-million in the trunk of a stolen '59 Caddy and gun-toting goons on her trail? In Eastwood's wily hands, Nowak is a master of disguise who becomes a radio DJ, a rodeo clown or a Vegas-style huckster to nail his target. As Nowak's frisky quarry Lou Ann, Peters easily nabs her leading man's heart. Supporting players Geoffrey Lewis, William Hickey and future superstar Jim Carrey (briefly seen as a Reno lounge entertainer) also help make this action comedy vehicle a sure-handler.

The Rookie: Packing years of experience and a .45 automatic, LAPD Detective Nick Pulovki figures he's got all the help he needs. He's also got all the help he doesn't need. His new partner is The Rookie. Director/star Clint Eastwood is Pulovksi. Charlie Sheen is the by-the-book newcomer. Each reluctantly relies on the other to stop a killer-elite gang of auto thieves. Raul Julia, Sonia Braga, Lara Flynn Boyle and Tom Skerritt co-star. A freeway becomes an 80-mph bumper car game. A barrio busts open like a giant piñata. The two drive through a wall to escape an exploding building…five stories up. Fasten your seat belt.

The Rookie is now available for purchase by clicking here.

Tightrope: Clint Eastwood is Wes Block, a lawman walking a Tightrope separating him from the man he strives to be and the man he fears he is. When investigating brutal sex murders, he uncovers a link between himself and the suspect. To the killer, the only good hooker is a dead one - especially if she's been with Block. Soon no woman who knows Block is safe, including those dearest to him (Genevieve Bujold and Alison Eastwood). Showcasing New Orleans at its moody best, writer/director Richard Tuggle (Escape From Alcatraz) adds shadings to Block that make him more than a stoic action hero. And Eastwood grabs the challenge with one of his best performances ever.

Tightrope is now available for purchase by clicking here.

White Hunter Black Heart: As star and director of White Hunter, Black Heart Clint Eastwood crafts one of the most acclaimed movies of his enduring career. He plays brilliant, driven filmmaker John Wilson (loosely based on the legendary John Huston), who's determined to turn his new project in Africa into a grand personal adventure hunting a wild elephant. Jeff Fahey, Marisa Berenson and George Dzundza co-star in this rugged and absorbing tale from the novel by co-screenwriter Peter Viertel, who worked with Huston in Africa in 1950 on The African Queen. Filmed in Zimbabwe and London, White Hunter, Black H eart is a bold trek into the heart of adventure. Set your sights.

White Hunter, Black Heart is now available for purchase by clicking here.

Where Eagles Dare: The mission is clear. Get in. Get the general. Get out. Commandos charged with freeing a U.S. general from an Alpine fortress should also be told to trust nothing - including the search-and-rescue orders just issued.

Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood go Where Eagles Dare in this twisty World War II thriller written by action master Alistair MacLean (The Guns of Navarone, Ice Station Zebra) and directed by Brian G. Hutton (Kelly's Heroes). Known for fiery dramatic roles, Burton ventures into the realm of movie pyrotechnics with dynamic efficiency. And Eastwood's cool-fire presence heightens one searing action sequence after another. The film became Eastwood's then-largest hit and its studio's #1 moneymaker of the year.

  • Carrie:
A high school misfit (Sissy Spacek) must not only endure continual torture and harassment from her classmates, but also a religious fanatic mother (Piper Laurie) and mysterious powers of telekinesis that she doesn't understand. When a group of mean-spirited teens make her the victim of a vicious prank at the senior prom, Carrie finally wreaks her revenge, causing all hell to break loose in a famed cinematic frenzy of blood, fire and brimstone.

Working from horror novelist Stephen King's literary work of the same name, director Brian De Palma ("Scarface," "Dressed to Kill") crafted an effective thriller with this 1976 horror flick that featured one of the best "gotcha" endings -- to make viewers jump from their seats - ever to be brought to film.

With decent performances from the cast - that includes John Travolta in just his second feature film role - and De Palma's standard, near hypnotic way of shooting the story, the film is still just about as gripping now as when it first spooked audiences decades ago.

    The Dark Half:
Horror writer Thad Beaumont (Timothy Hutton) hopes to distance himself from his murder novels and from George Stark, the name he has used to anonymously author them. To achieve this, he cooks up a murder of his own: a publicity stunt that should lay Stark to rest forever.

But when the people around him are found gruesomely slain - and his own fingerprints dot the crime scenes - Beaumont is dumbfounded until he learns that Stark has taken on a life of his own...and begun a gruesome quest for vengeance. (Studio Copy)

    Misery:
Adapted from a Stephen King story by Oscar®-winning screenwriter William Goldman (All The President's Men) and directed by Rob Reiner (A Few Good Men), this chiller starring Kathy Bates (Titanic) and James Caan (The Godfather), features a game played between two cunning minds - one as sharp as a tack and the other as blunt as a sledgehammer.

Novelist Paul Sheldon (Caan) doesn't remember the blinding blizzard that sent his car spinning off the road. Nor does he remember being nursed back from unconsciousness. All he remembers is waking up in the home of Annie Wilkes (Bates) -- a maniacal fan who is bent on keeping her favorite writer as her personal prisoner...for the rest of his 'cock-a-doodie' life! (Studio Copy)

    Needful Things:
Welcome to Castle Rock, Maine, a lovely place to live...if you don't mind selling your soul! Oscar® nominees Ed Harris (A Beautiful Mind) and Max Von Sydow (Minority Report) head an exceptional cast - including Bonnie Bedelia (Die Hard) and Amanda Plummer (Pulp Fiction) - in this supernatural thriller that's dark and haunting.

Sheriff Alan Pangborn (Harris) has a devil of a problem: Suddenly all the residents of his sleepy little town are dying...to kill each other. But at least business is still booming, especially at a new antique store. The store's owner (Von Sydow) has something for everyone, and his prices are always reasonable: just one small favor...oh, and, of course, eternal damnation! (Studio Copy)
