VIDEO:
(B) Although the picture is often razor-sharp, at other times the compression generated pixelation (quite apparent in light, solid colors -- especially the grays and light blues) gives the picture an overall "fuzzy" appearance. Beyond some film artifacts (scratches, etc...) that aren't too noticeable, and a tendency for the flesh tones to be a bit too "warm," the rest of the video is fine.
AUDIO:
(B) The soundtrack is serviceable, but unremarkable, with only the collection of period songs and a few effects thrown in to liven up the otherwise predominant talk-fest.

COMMENTS:
An okay DVD, but clearly nothing to write home about (particularly considering the bare-bones treatment -- widescreen version aside -- that the film receives). Even so, Williams at his improvisational best makes the picture worth seeing.
